The battery charger (: akkulaturi) can be found inside the garage at home, and is used to charge car batteries. The gauge on the charger displays the current being drawn from the charger to the battery. This means that when the needle is near to the left, the battery is charged and ready to start the car, and when it is near to the right and slowly moving left, the battery is being charged. The gauge does not indicate the battery's voltage.
Batteries charge much faster than the battery charger in the garage by using the alternator in the Satsuma. This can be achieved by swapping in a near dead battery once the car is running.
If the needle stays all the way to the right-hand side of the gauge, at the 12 ampere mark, the battery is likely dead and should be taken to the garbage disposal pit at the landfill site. The battery can also be disposed of via burning in the garbage barrel.
If the needle is on the left side or if the charger is not making any noise when the battery is plugged, it is most likely that your garage fuse is old or you have not paid your electricity bill.
