In My Summer Car, bus stops (
: bussipysäkki, linja-autopysäkki) are stopping points for the bus. They can be found on the highway near some junctions, and the main bus stop is located in the town, opposite the shop. The bus automatically stops only in Peräjärvi. If you want to get off on the highway, you can press the overhead button while sitting inside the bus - this will make it stop at the nearest bus stop. If you want to get on the bus from one of the highway bus stops, standing by the bus stop sign or shelter when the bus is approaching will cause it to stop.
There are two types of bus stops: with bus shelters or without. The shelters have a bench, a timetable and a bus stop sign attached on the side of them. Bus stops without shelters simply have a pole with the bus stop sign and a plate with the timetable attached.
The timetables on these bus stop only accurately show when the bus leaves Peräjärvi, since the bus speeds up and slows down on the highway, leading to some error. Traffic accidents may also occur, delaying the bus even more.
The player will spawn at the Peräjärvi bus stop once they have finished their jail sentence.
List of bus stops[]
Used bus stops:
- Peräjärvi. This is the main bus stop. It has a shelter and the bus stops automatically here.
- Loppe. This is a small bus stop, only the bus stop sign without the shelter is present.
- Loppentie. A small bus stop, almost identical to the Loppe stop.
- Rykipohja. A bigger bus stop with a bus shelter. The bus bay is also used as a slip lane for the Rykipohja highway junction.
Unused bus stops:
- Peräjärvi highway junction. This bus stop is unused, probably because the bus drives into the town. It has a shelter and is located on a slip lane, similarly to the Rykipohja bus stop. However, it is missing the timetable and the bus stop sign.
- Fleetari's Repair Shop. There is an abandoned bus stop beside Fleetari's Repair Shop, laying on an abandoned trailer. This bus stop has a shelter with a bus stop sign (however, with no timetable), meaning that it was probably used at some point. It could have been an old bus stop before the highway was built. Under this bus stop you can find some GT package parts.
