Old Model From Build 172
The crankshaft pulley (
: Kampiakselin hihnapyörä) is a car part which can be found inside the garage at home. It is attached to the crankshaft with 1x11mm bolt.
It can be painted with the spray cans, but only when detached from the engine. Removing it from a fully assembled engine requires removing the alternator belt first. Undo the alternator's positioning screw and shift the part towards the engine with the scroll wheel to give the belt enough room to come loose. Once the belt is off, unbolt and detach the pulley.
A mistake in assembly is to plug in this pulley as soon as the bottom half of the engine is complete. Doing this blocks the timing cover, and by extension everything powered by this pulley, from getting installed.
