Doors (
: ovi) are objects that are used to close off various places around Alivieska. Many of the doors in the game are openable; though some may have restrictions related to business opening hours, such as the door to Teimo's shop. There are also plenty of inoperable doors in the game which exist purely for aesthetic purposes.
A hand icon 
will appear at the centre of the screen when aiming the crosshair over the handle of an openable door; these doors can be opened/closed by pressing LMB or F while the icon is present. The garage doors are an exception to this; they can be opened by holding down LMB, and closed by holding down RMB.
Interactive door locations[]
Here is a list of all openable doors in My Summer Car, along with any restrictions they might have:
- Cottage - Three doors in total; no restrictions.
- Dance pavilion - Double doors; only openable from 20:00 to 02:00 on Saturdays.
- Fleetari Repair Shop - One door; only openable from 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday.
- Home - Nine in total; the doors leading outside will be locked if the house has been lost in a game of ventti.
- Jokke's new house - Three doors in total; only openable during and after the moving job.
- Lindell inspection shop - One door; only openable from 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday.
- Pub Nappo - One door; only openable from 20:00 to 02:00 from Monday to Saturday.
- Teimo's shop - One door; only openable from 10:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Saturday.
- Toivo's house - One door; only openable when or after getting keys for the Gifu.
- Ventti house - One door; no restrictions.
- Wastewater treatment plant - One door; only openable from 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday.
