The drunken brawler (
: Humalainen tappelija) is a man who can be found behind the dance pavilion every dance night who will start fighting the player if they punch or get too close to him. The player will fall over or get knocked out if they get hit too many times. The man can be fought back by getting close to him and pressing the punch key (default H) when he stops blocking; only punches to the face do damage.
Knocking the man out will cause him to drop his wristwatch, as well as his bottle. The wristwatch can be equipped by looking at it and pressing F.
- Note: The wristwatch will disappear upon saving and reloading the game if it is not equipped. The bottle will also disappear.
After beating the man in the fight, he will later be waiting at the pub for a rematch. With a bottle of beer and no watch, the man is aggravated at the player, trying to get it back by K.O.-ing you. If successful, the man will take the watch back and you must fight him at the dance pavilion again to reclaim it.
Strategy[]
The fight is very straight forward, and can be easily managed without taking any punches. There are some things that should be noted though:
- He can take 50 punches before getting knocked out.
- He will start getting weak near 40 punches to the face, and will start swaying right before he gets knocked out.
- The more drunk the player is, the less damage will be taken from the brawler's punches.
- The player's punch detection will happen at the position of the player character's fist instead of the center of the screen.
- Holding down the sprint key and moving in, punching, then moving back out is an easy way to dodge the man's slow punches. This will quickly fill up the thirst bar though, so drinking before the fight is a good idea.
- He won't move very far from his initial position, and will return there if the player walks too far away.
- If you can manage to get on top of him, you can repeatedly punch him, even if he is trying to block it, making it a lot easier to get his wristwatch.
- He can't be ran over by a vehicle - he acts as a solid object and can potentially cause a car crash.

- The man's hat and glasses can be punched off with enough force.
- The drunken brawler can push the tables and cause damage to the window while fighting in the pub. If he breaks the window, the player will have to pay for it.
- He used to look a lot different when he was added to the game - he didn't have a cap, tattooes, glasses, watch and a shirt, instead he wore a tank top, which made him look like a wandering NPC. And the prize for beating him in a fight was only his bottle of booze.
