Fireplace

Fireplaces (: takka) are structures mainly used to cook meat and brew coffee. There are two fireplaces currently in the game; one at home, and one at the cottage island. The fireplaces can be operated by first tossing 1-4 firewood inside the chamber, then lighting it by pressing F. Up to nine pieces of firewood can be stored inside a wood carrier, otherwise any excess firewood left lying around will disappear when reloading the game.

Warning: Using the fireplace at home has a very low chance to start a house fire

After around 2-3 logs have been burned, temporary orange glowing embers will appear, allowing the player to grill pike, sausages and moose meat.
