Fireplaces are structures mainly used to cook meat and brew coffee. There are two fireplaces currently in the game; one at home, and one at the cottage island. The fireplaces can be operated by first tossing 1-4 firewood inside the chamber, then lighting it by pressing F. Up to ten pieces of firewood can be stored inside a wood carrier, otherwise any excess firewood left lying around will disappear when reloading the game.
- Warning: Using the fireplace at home has a very low chance to start a house fire.
