A firewood pile (
: Puupino) is a piece of scenery which is used to chop firewood. An ax can be found next to either of the functional firewood piles, and can be equipped by first picking it up with LMB, then pressing F. Holding down and releasing RMB will swing the ax, this is used to split the log on the chopping block next to the pile. Pressing F while looking at the pile and having the ax equipped will place another log on the chopping block.
The chopped firewood is used to heat up a fireplace or the cottage sauna, or to load up the trailer which can then be delivered to the firewood guy for money.
There is an unlimited amount of firewood in a pile, and three piles can be found across Alivieska:
- Inside the woodshed in Kesselinperä.
- Next to the cottage on the island.
- Next to the ventti house (usable after winning the house in ventti, there is no ax present).
