Jörkka Sten is the singer who performs along with his backing band Panostajat at the dance pavilion every Saturday from 20:00 to 04:00. He performs two songs: Taksimies and Rakkauden pyörteet; these songs play on the radio periodically, and the Taksimies song is featured in the Topless Gun television programme. Jörkka also tells a joke between songs. The keyboardist was a real person, named Ripa Kemppinen. He plays the solo in Taksimies.

Trivia[]

  • Jörkka Sten actually exists in real life and is the creator behind the two songs. They were recorded in the 80s/90s and can be accessed on his Mikseri page.
  • The notice board reveals the backing band's name to be "Panostajat" which can translate to either "The Effort-makers" or "The Chargers" (as in explosive charge)
  • Jörkka looks like old Finnish singer Irwin Goodman, who lived from 1943 to 1991.
  • Each band member has animations according to the instruments which are able to be heard. An example of it can be found here.
  • While the shape of the bass guitar's body is most likely custom, the closest real counterpart would be a Fusion Bass. The bass also has a single + split coil pickups layout.
  • The drum set lacks a bass drum pedal. Instead the drummer is seeing kicking the drum with his foot.
  • The keyboard closely resembles a Yamaha DX7, though without any textures
