The motor oil (
: moottoriöljy) canister is an item used to lubricate the Satsuma's engine. Canisters can be bought from Teimo's shop in Peräjärvi for 149 mk per canister. The oil is poured into the capped hole on the rocker cover. Make sure to have the pistons inside the engine when pouring the oil in, otherwise it will not fill.
One motor oil canister holds four litres of oil; this is enough to completely fill the engine, as it can hold a maximum of three litres of oil (75% of one canister).
Dipstick[]
The quality of the motor oil in the engine can be checked by using the oil dipstick; it also shows how much motor oil is currently inside. The dipstick is attached to the oilpan, next to where the oil filter is placed, and can be used by pressing F.

Changing the oil[]
You should periodically change the engine oil when it starts looking burnt, because not doing so will cause the engine to wear much faster. Here is a simple guide on how to change the oil:
- Unscrew the 13mm screw at the bottom of the oilpan. Now wait for the bad oil to drain
- Screw the 13mm screws back in
- Change the oil filter as well
- Fill the engine up with new oil
