Oil filter

The oil filter (: Öljynsuodatin) is a car part which is used to keep the engine oil clean. It is installed to the front section of the engine block and screwed in by hand. The stock oil filter can be found inside the garage at home. The stock oil filter is very dirty and will not be effective in keeping the oil clean. New oil filters can be bought from Teimo's shop for 59 mk.

The condition of the oil filter can be checked by using the oil dipstick. If the oil is getting darker, both the motor oil and oil filter should be replaced. The dipstick is attached to the car, next to where the oil filter is placed, and can be used by pressing F.

Trivia[]

The new filter's manufacturer (Suomen Konemoka) loosely translates to "Finnish engine fault"
