Paranormal activity

Headlights in the distance are often thought to be UFOs.

Paranormal activity (: Yliluonnollinen ilmiö) may be observed in different forms throughout Alivieska. While the majority of it has been ruled out to be glitches/bugs, some paranormal elements have been implemented into the game intentionally. None of this activity is directly harmful to the player, nor are they significant aspects of My Summer Car.

Sightings

• The bedroom and kitchen doors can be seen or heard opening on their own, which the developer previously claimed to be a bug, as was the case with the cottage door opening on its own before it was fixed in an update. In the current version of the game, if a certain individual is driven to suicide, they may haunt the players home by moving the doors.
• The game files used to have a file named "char_ghost.mat", suggesting the presence of ghosts in some versions of the game.
• A cluster of three lights may rarely be observed moving erratically in the night sky. These lights are most likely, UFO's given the presence of files named "ufo1.ani", "ufo2.ani", and "ufo3.ani" in the game files. The lights appear rarely around 22:00.

  A single slow orb can be seen flying directly around the haunted mansion. it goes around once and flies toward the forest wall for about 4 seconds before launching into the sky.
• These UFO's could be balls of lightning, which is caused by an atmospheric electrical phenomenon that looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4vV3KxQ16c
• There is also a UFO contact ad that plays on the radio from time to time.
• The strange dealer inside the ventti house, along with his mutated appearance, bears a behavioral resemblance to that of a pig.
• The ghost of Pigman's father can be seen on the burnt down house next to Pigman's shack after 8pm. The player can only see him when taking a picture with the camera that can be found at the cottage.

• In the Mansion near Loppe, a black figure can be seen roaming around, which was known killed in a house fire according to what Grandma Sirkka says.
• If the player stays in the mansion for a long time, they may see furniture moving by itself and hear heavy breathing.
• You may hear cows at the burnt down cowshed at night. You can listen to the cows here.
