The pike (
: hauki) is a fish which can be caught with the fish trap found on the porch of the cottage on the island. As with any other food items, grilled pikes can be eaten by pressing F. Caught pikes should be grilled as soon as they've been taken out of the water, as they will suffocate and become rotten after about 20 minutes of real time, you can refrigerate them to postpone this however. After cooking them, they must still be refrigerated to not spoil. Pike can be brought to Grandma for 200 mk per fish, with a maximum of 1,000 mk for five fish.
Grilling[]
Grilling one pike takes about four minutes; multiple pikes can be grilled on the same surface at the same time. Trying to grill a pike in flames instead of embers or leaving the pike on a grill for too long will cause it to become burnt. The embers of a fireplace can also be used to grill pikes, as well as the stove.
Grilled pikes never despawn, even when exiting the game.
