Register plates (: Rekisterikilvet) are car parts for the Satsuma AMP, acquired after the car passes inspection for the first time. They are attached without any bolts in front on the front bumper and in the rear on the bootlid, and will not detach or be uninstalled after they've been put on. They are necessary for participating in the rally and prevents the player for receiving a fine from a police checkpoint for lacking vehicle registration.

Trivia

• The number on the plate, VBX-403, is identical to the number from the Datsun 100A in the Finnish film Pohjanmaa.
• As seen in the intro sequence, the plate number seen on the car circa 1976 is identical to the one awarded to the player.
