Plot[]

A short paragraph plot for the game reveals the story and the main character, Simppa;

Simppa & Jokke In Beer Bottle Bonanza - A "Talo Meren Yllä" game
Simppa dropped the beer box and broke every bottle just as they were preparing for a hockey match on TV.
The match starts at 22 o'clock and Simppa only has 10 minutes to find 24 replacement bottles or the hockey night will be too dry to fully enjoy.
How many bottles can Simppa find before time runs out?

The upper-middle of the game screen is the actual game itself. If the window does not have a white border on it, the player can continue to move forward in that direction, but if it does, the player can't move forward from there effectivity replicating a wall.

Towards the middle of the page, the game's title and the time left {21:50:00 - 22:00:00} can be seen. Towards the last 2 minutes, the font color of the time section turns red. Below that shows a beer case which fills up based on how many beers Simppa collects. Next to it shows the inventory which the selector can be moved using Z & X. Even below that shows the location of where Simppa is (for example "Jokke's Apartment").

Gameplay[]

The objective of the game is to find all 24 bottles back that Simppa has dropped into a beer crate before the hockey match starts. Otherwise, the hockey night with Jokke will be too dry to fully enjoy. The game will end if either Simppa finds all the bottles back in a span of 10 minutes, or if he has run out of time.

Ending[]

The game has 4 endings which all are in dialogue as to what Simppa says in the end. Only the true ending can give you the "Heaven" achievement.

  • True Ending: Simppa finds all 24 beer bottles and he and Jokke enjoy the hockey match together. After, when Simppa gets drunk, he states, "I am drunk and I have a stone. And now I have a idea...". He then throws a sauna stone onto the Alco [the local liquor store]'s window to get more beers and the game prompts you got yourself into trouble. This ending is required for the "Heaven" achievement.
  • Failed Ending: Simppa did not manage to find all 24 beer bottles in a span of 10 minutes while having the sauna stone. He states, "I found a stone but I'm not drunk enough to know what to do with it."
  • Alternative Ending: Simppa did not find all 24 bottles on time along with him not having a sauna stone leading him to say, "I'm not drunk enough and I can't think of a way to get into Alco. I'm sad."
  • Frustrated Ending: Simppa enjoys the hocky match with Jokke with a full case of beer, but without the sauna stone, he can't get into Alco leading him to say, "I'm drunk enough to do stupid things, but I don't have the right item for it."
