Smoke detector

The smoke detector (

: palovaroitin) is an object which is located on the ceiling in the hallway of the player's home. It alerts the player of smoke, or a possible house fire. Leaving the stove or sauna on for too long will produce smoke and cause the alarm to go off.

Although the batteries of the smoke detector last indefinitely and cannot currently be changed, it can be tested by looking at the smoke detector and pressing/holding LMB.
