This article is about the electric stove at home. For the stove at the ventti house, see Wood stove.

The stove (Fin: Hella) is an appliance that can be found in the kitchen at the player's house. The stove's cooktops can be operated by adjusting the four knobs on the front panel; the oven is currently nonfunctional. The cooktops can be turned on by looking at any of the knobs and scrolling the mouse wheel up or down; they have multiple heat settings, ranging from 0 to 6. The cooktops can be used to brew coffee or cook various meats.

The different cooktop settings take increasing amounts of time to become fully heated, setting 6 taking the longest (four minutes). The cooktop settings are as follows:

  • Setting 1 - No coffee production, doesn't cook meat
  • Setting 2-4 - Midpoints between embers and flames, can cook meat
  • Setting 5 - Midpoint between embers and flames, meat becomes burnt
  • Setting 6 - Equivalent to using flames, meat becomes burnt

Cooking[]

The cooktops can be used to cook all three kinds of meat: pike, moose meat, and sausages. It is important to use the lowest possible setting for cooking, setting 2, as higher heat settings will cause the meats to become burnt. It takes about four minutes for the cooktop to become fully heated on any of the settings. After cooking on higher levels (like 4-6), the stove will need to cool down, otherwise, if any meats are placed on it, they will still be charred (even if the stove is turned off).

Brewing[]

Coffee can also be brewed on the cooktops. The highest setting, setting 6, should be used when brewing coffee, as it is equivalent to brewing on flames; setting 2 corresponds to brewing with embers, and setting 1 produces no coffee. The cooktop will take about four minutes to fully heat up, and the optimal coffee brewing time is 59 seconds. This means that it will take five real life minutes to brew one pan of coffee.

Warning: Using the cooktops at this level of heat for too long has a high chance of causing a house fire.
