The train

The train is visible and audible from far away.

The train (Fin: juna) is a non-driveable vehicle that can be found periodically traveling back and forth along the sole railroad in Alivieska. The train is a VR (Valtionrautatiet, which translates to "State railways") class Dr13 (manufactured between 1962–1965), with four blue passenger coaches of the blue carriages type (manufactured between 1961–1987). Based on the number on the front, the locomotive appears to be based on VR Dr13 locomotive 2335, manufactured in 1965 by Lokomo Oy in Tampere, after a license from Alstom of France. While its livery is a faithful recreation, it features a spoof of the VR logo with the V vertically inverted to appear as "AR", possibly an acronym for Alivieskan rautatiet ("Alivieskan railways").

As suggested by its speed limit marking, the train travels uninterrupted along the track at speeds reaching up to 140 km/h. Due to its high speed and force of impact, player impact with the train, whether on foot or in any vehicle, will result in instant death.
