The utility lines run down many of the roads in Alivieska. They can be seen on dirt roads, as well as on highway. Poles are typical wooden poles, appearing in two different variants. They act only as scenery. Beware of crashing into them - unlike traffic signs, they are solid, and crashing into them often results in death. They are useful for orienting when you need to go home in the middle of the night from the Kesselinperä bus stop.
